Dance Instructor : Ballroom & Wedding Couple Privates
Lorenzo has been dancing Latin Ballroom for fifteen years and has been instructing Ballroom and Latin Ballroom professionally for twelve years.
Originally from New York City, NY and currently stationed at Fort Eustis, VA as a Drill Sergeant.
Lorenzo began teaching in 2010 for The Dance School of Arthur Murray based in New York City, NY and is formally trained in Waltz, Tango, Swing, Rumba, Samba, Hustle, Cha Cha, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Pasada, Argentine Tango, Bolero and other forms of dancing. He went on to teach in Osan, South Korea while rotationally deployed for 3 years just outside of Osan Airforce Base.
Apart from being contracted to teach individual lessons in his spare time, he has now found a home at Norfolk’s very own Mambo Room!
His Motto is, “An excuse will become the wall by which you cannot pass and those that use them will seldom succeed.”
Some of his previous duties include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrated appropriate method and methodology in teaching dance forms.
- Explained with demonstrations the individual movements for individual or group performances.
- Handled effectively tutoring Waltz, Tango, Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Bolero and other forms of dancing.
- Trained individuals and groups for sequences and concepts.
- Directed planning and supervision of all student private lessons, group lessons, and dance competitions.
- Provided group dance instruction and training for students preparing for competitions or any other event within or the outside the school studio.
